Java/EAI Developer
There are major subsystems in this company's application portfolio such as Oracle Apps, Windchill, various web applications and legacy systems running on the mainframe, SAP, BaaN and others. This position is responsible for developing interfaces between these and external application systems run smoothly.
- Support and Maintain Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) software and environment.
- Provide analysis, support and development of EAI and related applications as required.
- Uphold EAI implementation standards throughout IR and propose updates as applicable.
- Mentor others in the monitoring and problem solving techniques related to EAI and environment.
- Develop and maintain EAI/EDI system documentation.
- Advise IT leadership of EAI directions and technologies that can provide advantage.
Qualifications: - 4 year degree in Computer Science or related area.
- Solid understanding of webMethods, Java, PL/SQL, and the Oracle database.
- Knowledge of other commonly used tools such as UNIX shell scripting and Microsoft .Net technologies a plus.
- Working knowledge of operating systems environments such as Windows and UNIX.
- Knowledge of integration products such as webMethods and WBSI (Crossworlds), data interchange standards such as XML, transport mechanisms such as JMS and MQ/Series.
