Lead Machine Design Engineer/ Project Manager
Responsibilities:
A local Engineering consulting company is currently searching for a highly qualified Lead-level Machine Design Engineer/ Project Manager. This individual will be responsible for conceptual design of custom automation machinery. Responsibilities will include: rebuilds, retrofits, and ground-up design including component selection, mechanical analysis, and development of Bills of Materials. Other responsibilities of this position will include field investigations, design, client review, installation and start-up support. Candidates must be able to travel approximately 25-30% to client sites.
Requirements:
BSME degree, 5+ years of Mechanical Design experience (preferably in automated Industrial/ Manufacturing equipment), ability to perform load calculations, working knowledge of 3D CAD tool (SolidWorks, Inventor, or Pro-E), and strong client interface and communication skills. Candidates with P.E. registration in MN or WI, or who possess extensive food, beverage, or pharmaceutical industry experience are encouraged to inquire. Salary DOE.
