.NET Web Developer
PURPOSE
The .NET/SharePoint Developer will apply strong ASP.NET development skills to the analysis, design, development, integration, installation, implementation and support of Microsoft-centered custom applications, and will assist in developing and maintaining the organization's SharePoint websites.
KEY RESULT AREAS
Rebuild current web store using Microsoft and compatible technologies; integrate web store with back-end ERP (Microsoft Dynamics NAV)
- Assist New Media with programming of SharePoint-based web products
- Administer and maintain SharePoint servers and sites
- Write .NET solutions (including web services) to extend functionality of organization's enterprise applications
RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to Database and Applications Manager as part of Enterprise Applications Group
- Supports entire organization as primary responsible for administration and maintenance of SharePoint servers and sites
- Internal relationships with: Marketing & Info Systems
- External relationships with: New Media (technical), all other departments (business requirements)
JOB SPECIFICATION
Desired education and experience:
- Bachelors degree is required, preferably in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or other Engineering field
- 3+ years ASP.NET web development experience
- 3+ years SharePoint administration and development
- Experience in and strong understanding of C#.NET, ADO.NET, SQL, Web Services and XML
Desired knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Functional and process knowledge of consumer web e-commerce
- Communicate well with both business and technical end-users
- Work independently and in teams
- Willing to research and resolve problems with limited direction
- Able to manage own projects and consistently meet deliverables deadlines
