SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPER
Client is seeking and experienced, self-starting Application C++/C# Programmer with a strong work ethic who is capable of working both independent of direct supervision and as part of a team to design, maintain, and enhance legacy, current, and future applications built using the latest Microsoft development technologies.
This position requires product design, coding, unit testing, bug verification, release testing, and beta support which may require research and analysis; operates under minimal supervision; reports to the Software Development Manager or Team Lead and requires 3+ years of technical experience in software design and product support.
Responsibilities:
70% Performs complex product design and implementation activities
- Performs design, implementation, documentation and maintenance of complex, multiple product modules/sub-systems.
- Participates in product design meetings
- Elicit requirements detail and build schedules
30% Performs complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products.
- Researches problems discovered by QA or products support and develops solutions to the problems.
- Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree software engineering or computer science.
3 plus years of experience in software development. (experience will be considered)
Required skills, knowledge:
Design experience in OOD/OOP
Programming languages C++ and C#
Work experience with SQL databases
Working experience with XML
Recommended:
Knowledge of networking and security related application development.
