Senior Software Engineer
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
The Senior Software Engineer develops this company's .Net based applications, based upon specifications provided by the Manager, Software Engineering and the Chief Technology Officer (“CTO”). The Software Engineer will use his/her experience in leveraging Microsoft technology to develop components and applications in a multi - tier environment.
Duties:

- Interpret specifications provided by the company's resources and/or customers to design .Net components and applications.
- Leverage knowledge of Microsoft technology to develop multi-tier applications.
- Leverage knowledge of Microsoft technology to develop component based solutions.
- Conduct unit and system testing for developed applications to confirm quality.
- Communicate software features and nuances for the purpose of generating software documentation.
- Develop knowledge of current software products.
- Develop knowledge of current operations infrastructure.

- 5+ years Windows based applications development experience in a production environment
- Experience in these core languages VB.Net, C#, C++
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Understanding of XML and HTML
- Understanding of SOAP and Web-Services
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to produce with minimal supervision
- Basic Windows, Network, Database Administration Skills
