Server/Messaging Engineer
We are currently seeking a Messaging/Mailflow Engineer with 5+ years of experience. This individual will be a member of a team that manages the Electronic Communications environment. Responsibilities include providing direction, and maintaining and supporting the existing Electronic Communications environment.
Responsibilities / Subject Matter Expertise:
- MS Exchange 2003/2007
- Active Directory environment
- Blackberry
- Instant Messaging
- Anti-Spam products
- Anti-Virus products
- Content filtering products
- Compliant archival for Messaging
- Monitoring of Messaging / AD using Microsoft
- Operations Manager (MOM)
- Maintenance of PJC Messaging environment
- Develop / maintain technical documentation
- Provide 3rd level support for all Messaging issues
- Assist in developing strategy & direction
- 3-5 years experience working with Microsoft Exchange
- 3-5 years experience working with Active Directory; Design, Implementing, GPO’s
- Expert knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2003/2007 design and implementation
- Enterprise level monitoring and root cause analysis experience
- Experience with SMTP mail routing and filtering
- Experience with email encryption and archiving solutions
- Experience with antivirus/AntiSpam solutions
- Expert knowledge of enterprise-level Windows server environment, IIS, DNS, SMTP, TCP/IP, DHCP, WINS, DNS, SMTP, IMAP4, POP3, OWA, OMA, LDAP
- Must have strong planning, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Must have ability to work in team environment
- Microsoft Certified System Engineer (MCSE) 2000/2003
- Experience with Dell hardware
- Experience with Compliant Storage for email archival
