Web Development Engineer
Job Summary:
Builds moderately complex Web pages/Web sites using current Internet and scripting languages and Web authoring tools.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full life cycle design and development of front and back-end corporate web applications, including e-commerce.
- Attends meetings, works to gather and understand requirements.
- Collaborates with other team members to define requirements and develop system interfaces.
- Conducts testing and authors technical documentation needed for application.
- Responsible for support and maintenance of existing web solutions.
- Provides recommendations for enhancements and supports the web infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree Computer Science or related field
- 2 years related experience
- Knowledge of standard development concepts, practices and procedures.
- Knowledge/expertise in the following: ASP.NET, VB.Net, ASP 3.0, SQL Server, Web Services
- Familiarity with C# and graphic design a plus.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong project management, analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with external and internal personnel.
